On a night no surviving record can fully reconcile, the house did something it had never done before.
It opened itself to many visitors at once.
Many of them never emerged.
Those who survived their passage through Divine House could not agree on what transpired.
Some spoke of revelation.
Others of catastrophe.
Many insisted nothing extraordinary had occurred at all.
What is certain is this:
After that night, history lost its coherence.
Records began to contradict one another.
Testimony refused to align.
Meaning no longer agreed with meaning.
The event came to be known as the Sealed Night —
not because Divine House closed its doors, but because understanding did.
Every surviving account of that night is incomplete.
Altered. Contradictory. Untrustworthy.
Its truth is sealed.
In the years that followed, unrelated histories began to fracture in sympathy.
This project gathers those fragments —
not to reconcile them, but to return them to conflict.
Because whatever was broken that night was never repaired.
And Divine House is still standing.
